MEDICAL AID

We get over 4,000 frantic calls a year from low/no-income families And senior citizens whose pets need urgent medical care.

We help through financial aid paid directly to veterinarian clinics. Our goal is to alleviate pets’ suffering and get them quickly on the road to wellness by getting them the medical & surgical attention they need.

Vet costs can be prohibitively expensive. People’s hearts break when they can’t afford necessary healthcare. Please continue to support this critical program.

HINTS FOR ALL:
Your pets CAN get sick or injured. Prepare now. Check into pet insurance. Get a piggy bank for each pet. Be aware of any physical, emotional, mental, behavioral changes and seek medical advice. Keep your companion animals indoors, especially in bad weather and at night. Be sure any outside yard they are in is safe and secure. Make sure they have access to shelter, food and water at all times, in all environments. Never let them have chocolate, bones, or be around puddles of anti-freeze. If you have cats, you know they like to get into tight or closed spaces. Always check your washer and dryer before turning them on to be sure little tabby hasn’t been hiding or jumped in while you were loading.
